Home Inspection

Bill's extensive technical and practical background uniquely qualify him to produce knowldedgeable, in-depth inspections.  To date he has personally performed over 3,000 inspections.  His report can be produced and provided to the client and their realtor at the time of the inspection.  The computer report is easy to understand, with extensive use of photographs to document the areas of concern.  The written report and photographs are presented in a three ring binder with extensive supplementary information, both about the defects and about how to maintain the property in optimum condition.  The report can also be sent electronically to interested parties.

Commercial Property Inspection

Commercial inspections are tailored to the client's needs and wishes.  They can range from verbal walk-throughs to detailed, documented inspections with a technical review of specified items.  Please call for a discussion of your needs.

Expert Witness

Bill's educational and practical background uniquely qualify him to serve as an expert witness in the field of residential land development and construction.  He has been qualified by the courts and has testified successfully in a number of trials, arbitrations and mediations.  He has worked with both plaintiffs and defense.  He is particularly skilled at delivering simple and clear explanations of complex and obscure conditions.

Building Consultation

Bill will meet with clients on an hourly basis to look at a  problem and offer ideas for solutions.  In addition he has a number of qualified trades people he can recommend for repairs and replacements.  For homeowners who have hired a building contractor or are about to do so, Bill can review the contract and the specifications to help ensure the documents actually state what the homeowner intends.
